Beach House on Mars marks Rusted Metal’s first release, a raw and unapologetic statement from Detroit’s Sheefy McFly. Known as a muralist, rapper, and DJ, Sheefy brings his visual energy to sound, crafting throwback rock steeped in washy reverb, driving bass, and gritty drums. Equal parts party and provocation, the four-song set—"Green Lasers", “Bruce Willis”, “Fuck You”, and “Detroit”—fuses his fearless creativity with the edge of a live band, The Delorean. Like his murals across the city, Sheefy’s music radiates color and movement, making Beach House on Mars both a celebration and a defiant reimagining of rock from Detroit’s underground.
